The latest in my (now biweekly) travel tech column at The Travel Bite.
I finally confront my ornithophobia beak on, with mixed results. On the upside, there is now a hilarious video of me almost crying because a parakeet lands on me… oh wait that’s a downside. Read my latest spontaneous instruction on facing your fears (and my visit to the alligator capital of the world).
Or just watch me embarrass myself:
For those who don’t know it’s been a dream of mine for some time now to create a site dedicated to old people dancing. They told me it was crazy, they told me I couldn’t do it, they clarified that they were talking about my idea to steal an ocelot from a wildlife preserve. But I ignored them and now “Old People Dancing” exists. So if you, like me, enjoy watching old people get their groove on and if you, unlike me, do not enjoy taking the time to curate your own lists of videos of said activity, you should head on over to my Tumblr. Old people, dancing and the internet: destined to be together forever.
I went through a really rough break up. I’m not normally one to put my personal life all over the internet (I say as you’re reading a blog exclusively about myself) but the least you could do is read about it. Support me as I dump Google Maps for Waze.
Side note: I turned 21 this week. So I guess I’m an adult now? My footie pajamas say otherwise.
My first impressions of Wander, an app that connects you with guides across the world to share your experiences through photos. After receiving some feedback, the developers have given the app an update so I’ll be giving it another shot and possibly doing the same to my review.
New post about a fun new loyalty card app, and my food truck stalking tendencies.
This Friday will be my first post for The Tech Trek, check out Rachelle’s article about my new guest column!
